I finally did it!! I made some mosaics with my old ceramic mistakes.

That’s right…I now offer repurposed broken ceramics. You can buy unbroken ceramics or broken ceramics all from the same person. Awesome!!

I have to be honest, as I child I did not know what this day was all about. I just knew we had everything green for the day (including green bagels my Momma made) and adults often drank too much beer. I still don’t know what exactly the day is for but I love green so I am happy to have a day practically dedicated to the color!

While I didn’t make anything in clay for the day, I do want to share some beautiful green things, all from local artists! Enjoy!

I am always torn about this changing of time. I understand it’s purpose but have a hard time accepting that I just lose or gain an hour. It messes with my mind.

You might have noticed I write about weather and time a lot. I have a fond memory of visiting my grandfather and he would ask me to call Time and Temp. (Does that even exist anymore?)

I guess it stuck with me. I am a timely person and usually know what time it is even if I don’t have a clock. I’ve never been to Vegas so I cannot say it is foolproof…but I am pretty good with time.

I also have become more obsessed with temperature since I started doing ceramics and living through Texas summers. I dream of white winters but at best get drizzly gray ones.
