I missed it. I totally missed my one year anniversary of my blog.

So maybe you don’t think a blog is worth celebrating but the way I see it, I have to commemorate all my accomplishments. It helps me stay motivated and keep trying new things.

I looked through all my posts and here is what my first year of blogging consisted of in a nutshell.

• I made ceramics
• I glazed ceramics
• I sold ceramics

I think that about sums it up. Ha ha.

Hopefully you find what I write more entertaining than this summary but even if you don’t here’s to another year!

Heart magnets

I just want to take a moment and talk about love.

• I love what I do.
• I love my supporters. (Especially Kelly- it’s okay, he’s my hubby!)
• I love that we have a day each year to remind us to take the time to tell special people in our lives that they are that: SUPER SPECIAL and LOVED.

My furry loves

Sometimes my life gets so busy that I forget to slow down and enjoy the most important things. So here is a momentary pause to say:

Whether or not you believe the groundhog has any credibility in predicting our weather, I am grateful it saw its shadow. Now stick with me as I know this is illogical.

Since it has been declared there are 6 more weeks of winter, I feel like I won the lottery.

I know these are the same six weeks that would have been the beginning of Spring but somehow by calling it winter I feel like I am ahead of the game.

I have been busy modifying and perfecting my herb markers and this extra 6 weeks of winter makes it feel like I have more time to get them ready.

I have also been working on some NEW veggetable markers…again, its like I just got a bonus 6 weeks to work on them.

So hats off to you little furry friend. Even if it has been (and looks like it will continue to be) Spring weather outside, I just got another 6 weeks of winter studio time. Sweet!!
