So you might have noticed I’m a bit obsessed with jellyfish.

I went to an aquarium once and the jellyfish were all in tubes with led lights at the bottom. I was mezmorized by the way they gently floated in the space and their translucency.

I even came up with an idea that if I ever opened a restaurant (which I won’t) I would have jellyfish in tubes on the table with led lights instead of fresh cut flowers….I still think that would be pretty amazing!

Anyhow, I have been playing with jellyfish imagery on my ceramics recently and really enjoying the process of “drawing”  and “printing” on clay.

One thing I love about ceramics is how there are so many different things you can do from form to surface decoration. I am a big fan of playing with the surface decoration.

This wall hanging was fun to create and not so shabby to look at either.

Easter has come and gone and with it goes the cadbury creme eggs. Usually this would be a sad occasion but I stumbled across something I just must share!
